Re: We Need a Gun Up Forward
Check the facts. How's their number one pick going compared to ours. Rising star and has played as many senior games in one year as ours has in three. Want me to go on? I could, but your posts speak for themselves. We didn't have No. 1 pick last year. If we did we would have picked McGrath. Paddy i...

I'm still shocked by how much people dislike ITKs on this site. Really unfair on people just here to give a little inside information

Wow, he should announce his retirement immediately. You sure showed them didn't you boss?ace wrote:I thought we had a No 1 draft pick and used it on a gun forward.
That's what most posters here insist.
Maybe they will change their minds once he announces his retirement due to concussion issues.

Re: Roberton and Ross in 40 man AA squad.
Not as fussed about this year, but Steven was absolutely robbed last year, was a top 4 midfielder in my opinion and beat selwood in almost every stat and had a dominant year. Most underrated footballer of the last 5 years

I've been convincing myself since the start of the year that joey would have to go for the good of the club, but now that it's happening, I'm pretty broken up about it

Re: Our Report Card Is In And We Got An F
It sure is a fail if the club came out and said that this year we were going to play finals, but they didn't. Some.players have gone backwards, but some have advanced really well. Billings had a phenomenal year, and if he straiten up, is an all Australian contender in the years to come Seb Ross real...

Re: The Deliberate Out of Bounds Rule
either dont penalise players for putting it out of bounds, or do a last touch rule, that will encourgae players to keep it in if they dont wanna get penalised.
make it simple for the umpires, that way the can be more consistent

Re: Bruce Accuracy
I think the biggest issue is that he has been massively overrated by saints fans and probably the club too. He hasn't had an ordinary year, he's been pretty ordinary for two and a half years and has played a handful of good games in his last 50. Expectation should be a 35-45 goal forward, yes he ki...

Newnes
There has been slot of talk about players for my backwards this season, but for me, Newnes is the only one to have completely dropped off. After last year he was very promising putting in one or two best on ground performances and playing consistently, but this year, he looks so far off that form an...

Re: List cloggers.....who are they?
If you're worried about Koby, I think he's more than made up for Armo. He gets the ball a lot, competes well, tries to kick or hb to advantage, and we are lucky he's in the middle. I think he stays and he's valuable, not just as depth. Surround him with skill like Martin or Kelly, and watch him get...

Re: Team for Round 23 V Tigers
I can't believe talk on here about comparing Lonie and Sinclair. Like chalk and cheese. Sinclair has always looked liked class. Lonie has done nothing. Did he look like class in his 3 disposal game against the bulldogs last year? Lonie has done more than Sinclair did at the same age. Lonie is a sma...

Re: Team for Round 23 V Tigers
Right now, I see Lonie on the Sinclair trajectory, dominate 2nd the twos but not having the same impact at the higher level, get him another pre-season and we can see how he improves his body.
PS. He is dominating the VFL way more than Sinclair did last year. He's a step above all of them in the 2s

Re: and moving onto 2018 _ Fixture news
About time for a season where we don't go to Adelaide. Under normal circumstances that would be enough to be able to make the 8. We never won in Perth or Sydney so why not stay and play all our games at Etihad. F*** all the interstate members that fork out their hard earned membership money....

I'm more than happy for Nathan brown to have the lowest around the ground score, because if he's getting uncontested marks it means he is not doing his job

Re: Player on the rise-
Player ratings mean Jack all, they hate Roberton. He's ranked 15th out of general defenders this year, but he's actually top 5 ? They arent gospel but they mean something. Why do people get their knickers in a knot over player rankings? It is just one methodology. Who cares? Noone 'hates' Roberton....

Re: Dunstan
I've banged on about this a bit lately but Dunstan is a good example of a player going back to Sandy to work on his weaknesses. The knock on Luke was always his aerobic capacity. He simply tired after good first halves (where he'd get 15 odd disposals) and be unable to impact the contest in the sec...

Dunstan
This may just be me, but about halfway through this year I had lost hope of Dunstan improving any further. He had been twice dropped for the first time in his career, and was barely making an impact in the games he came back for. This may just be me being impatient with a young player, but I wasn't ...
