Why would they hold the interviews before the VFL season finished?

1. What happens if Siposs has 35 disposals, 10 tackles and 5 goals in the VFL grand final and is BOG?

2. It's pretty unfair to Sandy seeing as players could be off their game knowing that they aren't getting a new contract.

EFC will play hard on a trade due to the fact that they are horrible to deal with in trading. Carlisle will likely end up walking out without a trade into the preseason draft and be picked up by Carlton. Wont happen. When was the last good player to go into the PSD? Crameri was traded from Essendon to the Western Bulldogs in exchange for pick number 26 in the National Draft. We should be aiming for swapping our second round pick. Perhaps with a player or exchange of other picks. The problem is that Carlisle is probably worth a 10-20 pick and we don't have one....

It's pretty important that we get him to officially nominate us now. I don't want to get into a bidding war with Carlton who will likely have 3 top 10 picks.

Once we get the kid enjoying life again he will be a star.
