Re: Paddy Concussed
What am I lying about? The fact I was there That I was standing next to Spud It happened right on front of the coaches box Not sure why I'd lie, or why you'd accuse someone of that when you have no evidence of such a thing? The rubbish you post about Paddy what is it did he kick a bag on you or som...

Re: Paddy Concussed
Please don't mention Lockett and McCartin in the same sentence, post, thread, forum please Lockett was 21 in 1987 Not sure Paddy will kick a hundred this season, win the b&f, the Brownlow or even play much more senior footy this year. Lockett was fat, yes But he wasn't slow! That's right. Compa...

Re: VFL RD 10- Sandringham Vs Coburg
Irrespective of the coach's ability, with the so called St Kilda listed player talent out there today, Sandy should have won against Coburg. Big time embarrassing, as already said by the other posters.

Re: VFL RD 10- Sandringham Vs Coburg
Sandy is in a bad hole losing to the bottom team who had lost their last 9! Our depth is nowhere near what we hoped for and it is nonsense how some posters want Roo and Joey dropped. We would have to replace them with players who can't perform at VFL level. It's an absolute sad indictment to the cl...

Re: Some myths re: the Western Bulldogs
I still don't rate them as better than us  They actually won a flag. In the real world. We cant even make the eight. But sure. We are better. This! I'm sick of people saying the dogs were lucky to win, or they fluked it. Do you think they care?????? Would we???????? I'd kill to win j...

His coaching and team selections are confusing to say the least. No wonder the team lacks structure and cohesion now.

Recruiters can make or break teams - you can always hire and fire "bad" or underperforming coaches - but with a bad recruiter you're still stuck with the players they've recruited. A bad recruiter is like a bad smell that won't go away. A good recruiter is worth 10 good coaches. That's ho...

Re: Still no Credit for Paddy!!!!!
what about Jack Watts, how'd he go today????? Interesting, isn't it. The maligned No.1 kicked the sealer. The moral of the story is don't write them off too early. Now your up to speed, good man!!!!! Watts was drafted as a forward at number 1, and when it quickly became apparent he wasn't good enou...

Re: Still no Credit for Paddy!!!!!
Still happy with our selection, Petracca was good, yes, but still refuses to chase, turned his back on team-mates in better postion and missed (twice) and cracked the s***s with the coaching staff (several times)!!!!! As good as he is, it's still about Christian, but good luck to him!!!!! No tank e...

Re: Still no Credit for Paddy!!!!!
I too am worried about Paddy, just seems like there are a few big holes in his game, and I'm not sure where the improvement is going to come from. Name another young forward who Paddy looks like being a better player than? Also watching Petracca tear it up at the G right now is not pleasant, I feel...

Re: Monty rings Derm
Montagna should watch his performances this year especially in the games where he needed to be accountable or play with any form of inspiring leadership. Roo still does that but Montagna hasn't for a long time. He is finished. The king of cheap, ineffective possessions and softest player out there b...

If that injury to Weller is an aggregation of what was revealed this week as an ankle injury he's been battling with all season I'll blow a gasket... PLAY SOMEONE ELSE OTHER THAN AN INJURED PLAYER UNDERPERFORMING!!!! At this point you can't even blame Mav, it's clearly the coaching Very unprofessio...

Re: Bring back the G-Train!
Gehrig had a great combination of size, speed and power to complement his exceptional skill. Towards the end of his career he was cruelled by bad hand and finger problems. Some of his fingers almost went sideways, that stuffed they were! Sadly, we don't have a forward on the list remotely like this ...

Dragit you are one of the more constructive posters here and like reading your thoughts. I know he has had 30 odd possessions today as you pointed out but he has had minimal impact on the game. He should be much better being the senior player he is but often plays like this. He is great at picking ...

Re: Match thread - Saints vs Bulldogs
Well according to the stats we had the best five players on the field? And Longer ranked second? We got destroyed. The Carlisle forward desperate move backfired as our defence unwound completely. We have no real structure going into the fifty. Bringing Minch in was a shocker, he and Wright and DMac...

What a beauty that Caleb daniel is. Smallest player going around but his skill, decision making and hard ball contests are so good. He has killed us today. But alas .... "the experts" at theorise said too small to make it in AFL.... Yes our recruiters should have listened to 'noddy04' on ...

Time to retire Montagna. What a pathetic option for a senior player and leader. he should be starring today with Jack Steven being tagged. Apologies to all who get offended if I criticize Montagna but I have always believed he is over-rated and will not change my mindset. The confirmation for me wa...

Re: Changes v Dogs
I was really disappointed with Monty's game against the Swans- lacked dash, and disposal poor plus he gave his man too much room to move. At his best he is a good outside player when the team is actually being accountable and taking it up to the opposition with contested possession. When not, Monta...
