Re: VFL Final Qualifications
For example if we had a 16 players available to play but could only select 13 as you say, would we select sippos markworth white over other boys who have been there all year to see how they go as they are all out of contract.. Not a hope. In the finals it will be based purely on form otherwise Sand...

Need to stay on the park next and play at least 17 or so games, otherwise unfortunately its curtainsSaints43 wrote:Which is why, when fit, he is selected in the senior team. Always. Would have liked if he played. Get Acres to follow him around all game and learn from a player who has pretty similar traits to him

Re: Schneider's future , possibles - article
Thanks for your services Adam.
Its one of the positions that we have plenty of options in who need to be given games in (lonie, sinclair, billings, eli, minch and could add in saunders and even murdoch)

Re: Nathan Wright
Ever since he had his jaw broken he has not been the same and over the last year or so hasn't looked like even being named as an emergency let alone playing. Actually he played three at the start of this year, but two of them were sub-affected and he didn't make much impact even in the Carlton game...

Re: Nathan Wright
I was a massive fan of his when he first burst onto the afl scene. I remember one particular play in his 2nd or 3rd game were he was in the centre square for a centre bounce, received the ball done a pirouette and burst out of the centre square hitting a target 15 out directly in front. Ever since ...

Yeah i guess every coach has players that he prefers over others, its just human nature.gringo wrote:I like Nathan too, I think the current coach doesn't though. Saunders and Wright have both been starved of opportunity under Richo.

Re: Going Early on the young power forwards
I agree with the all the above about getting more attention from opposition coaches/defenders.
I also think that he is struggling physically because this is his first proper season of playing afl footy.

Re: Squad v Demons. In Schneider, Hickey, Membrey
Lonie very very lucky to remain in the side I think if his goals had gone through he would have probably been considered to have a very good game. Has had a pretty solid season for us. Just feel over the last few weeks he seems to be slowing down a bit (tired body) and wouldn't mind minch or even s...

Re: Team v Tigers
Exciting game with a couple of our future stars playing. This place will go into meltdown with negetive nellys if Mccartin struggles and Goddard gets a bag kicked on him. I have no problems with the younger players getting beaten by their opponents every now and again. What frustrates must people i...

Very happy with more kids being given game time. Must say Ray is very very lucky to keep his spot this week.
I must admit i was one of the Schneids bashers at the start of the season, but would have preferred him to be in the side over ray.
