Re: Game Thread v GC Suns
I know this is going to sound terrible but we need to have a good loss today. No injuries, play well but lose by under 20 points is what I'm hoping for. With Melbourne winning we are now closing in on pick 2 if GWS start winning (which I'm sure they will). For the sake of our re-build, I want St Ki...

Re: Tommy Lee
Can anyone explain the rationale for giving up a first round dp for a reject who had showed nothing for the club that originally drafted. Is there a forum rule of multiple sign-ins???? No it isn't. I use one nic on here. It will be getting change by Simon to Bunk Moreland as it is being confused fo...

Re: thank God we aren't Richmond
Its a lesson on how drafting is not the be all and end all to success. There is a thread by BigMart about targets re established players which is, in my opinion worthwhile looking at. Good drafting PLUS canny trading is a far better formula. Look like Richmond will burn another coach as well. Hardwi...

Re: Would love to see some intensity and attack on the footy
Richardson wasn't seen as the messiah Bluthy. Basically we had two relatively easy games R1 and 2, played well against an ordinary Eagles team and then beat an out of sorts Essendope whose AOD's hadn't kicked in for the week. We had a pretty fit team with Riewoldt in career best form and the new kid...

Explained in my first ever post that I was being a bit cheeky after reading the citywest thread. Stringer comes from Stringer Bell the character in The Wire.
Bunk Moreland is another character in the Wire

Re: If we play 2 games per year in NZ from 2015.....
citywest is not this nic.
Simon has asked me to change it to avoid confusions and baiting.
I have asked Simon to change it to Bunk_Moreland and am waiting for him to get back to me on that.
SO citywest is not posting under more than one nic.

Re: Billings will be our best player by 2016
Why cant people get excited about Billings? Is it because he is a Saints player. I seem to remember some on here getting exciting about players from other clubs because we hadn't picked them, but when we do pick a kid who is looking OK, we cant get excited? Very strange "support" of your c...

Agree. Just what we need. While we're at it I believe Andrew Lovett has been a good boy and may deserve another chance. Would add some much needed speed and skill. Seriously, lets leave the knuckleheads alone. No good can come from it. Just ask Vossy. Could just as easily compare him to Franklin as...

Be a great get.
Sounds like he and GWS area t war. Will want to leave and we could get him fora second rounder.
Good replacement for Lenny or Joey.
We could then trade Armitage and get another first rounder

Another injury.
Our injuries are stacking up big time.
Reminds me of the good old days when GT cost us at least one flag because of his dictatorial style of running everything and not getting the players properly fit enough.
What is out excuse for this horrific run of injuries in 2014?

We seemed better on the weekend when he was on the bench.
He was on one leg and cant take a contested mark. Think he should retire at years end before he becomes a cripple

Re: If we play 2 games per year in NZ from 2015.....
Mark my words, if we play 2 games in NZ each year, one in Wellington and another in Christchurch (or Auckland) we will get our 10,000 members. Added to that we can play a Nab cup there as well. The Saints have to do this Con because if we don't we will forever struggle and will always be in danger ...
