Growing up in the 70's and one game sticks out in my mind more than any other. Round 22 against Carlton 1978. We had to beat the blues and we needed Fitzroy to beat Geelong for us to make the finals. We did our bit smashing Carlton but Fitzroy didn't beat Geelong. It was a fantastic game with nearly...

For us to beat Geelong i believe we need a minimum of 12 goals to be kicked by the following four players Riewoldt Kozi Schneider Milne If the rest of the team can come up with 4 to 6 goals then i think with a score of 16 plus goals that should be enough to get us over the line because i think our d...

He now works in a fresh seafood place in Centre rd. Bentleigh

St.Kilda is like a child.

I've followed the Saints now for over 35 years and have now come to the conclusion that they are my 3 rd child. There are times when they give you great high's and other times you are disappointed in them. But like a child you always love them and you never give up on them.

Lets not forget that Robert Walls was part of a sub committee of 5 or 6 that recommended Ross Lyon as our coach.

The club then ratified that decision. So Robert Walls wasn't acting on his own.

George Young was indeed a great footballer. He was an absolute great left foot kick.Left at the end of 1978(after 6 seasons) to go back home to WA. This also coincided with the saints dropping down the ladder. 3. Absolute great games he played for us are: 1. 1973 Elimination Final against Essendon. ...

I can well remember when i started going to the footy in 1974 and the footy record was 10 cents.

At $4.00 that is an absolute rip off. Save your money and you just about pay for half a seasons membership.

Lockett would probably be the best player to have ever played for the Saints. Anyone who would change ends after every quarter to follow him would testify to this.
