Totally agree.
Richo just needs to tweak his game-plan as other teams now know how to set-up against Robbo when he's deep in defense.

Re: Vent your spleen

Longer to be dropped - I don't care if Gilbert rucks the whole day Paddy to stay - kick it to his advantage - but we need another reliable forward so that the 21 gamer does not get the #1 defender AND double teamed. Forget about flat hands - mark the thing - if you miss the mark - let the smalls de...

Re: Vent your spleen

Where do I start? Mav Weller had less than 10 possessions Those dropped marks Etc Etc here I go again having to defend Mav from the unwashed. he had 15 possessions but much more importantly led the pressure acts with 29! If you went to the match and think for a minute any of our forwards were to bl...

Re: Positives: McCartin was good

15 touches. 9 marks. 2 shots at goal. 2 inside 50s. Was in the right places. Had foul delivery all day, and had Dale Morris following him around most of the day. Ignore the unwashed - Paddy was good. He worked really hard and led well all day - often into space where he demanded the ball but was ig...

Re: Team v dogs

So Weller survives again eh He's the best pressure forward we have so highly unlikely he will be dropped anytime soon. I'd say on performance this season, he's behind Wright, Minch and heck even Gresh who may not be as good a pressure player but is more effective nonetheless. Would rather Dunstan i...

Re: Cheer Squad! you ROCK!!

We were ALL as flat as tacks during Saturday's disappointing result, but NOT the Cheer Squad! Good on those girls and boys who barracked non-stop, particularly when the rest of us were sitting like stunned mullets. You never lowered the colours, not ONCE! KUDOS! Your support is an example to us all...

Re: Votes vs da Swans

Your assumption I was not at the match is as errant as your ratings of Geary, Weller and Longer who were all among our significant under performers Lol you have no clue and I now know I am wasting my time trying to educate the uneducatable. To single out these 3 players in yesterday's loss I can on...

Re: Votes vs da Swans

5-Gilbert - worked hard both ways 4-Ross - accumulated 3-Acres - had a crack 2- Billings - was ok 1-Roberton - not as good as he has been, but still reasonable Carlisle was good in the first half but poor after that... Steven was typically fine... Weller, Montagna would be dropped if I were IC Sinc...

Re: Votes vs da Swans

Geary and Weller in the Votes!!! They were among the contingent that saw 22 players eventually overwhelm 16 players. Next you will have Longer in the Votes on today's performance!!!! You clearly watched the game on TV moron and did not see how hard both worked to get from contest to contest. As for...

Re: Votes vs da Swans

How many of those Mav stats were in the last q when the game was dusted? I'm not sure but you can look at it that way and I saw him working his guts out in the last quarter when others stopped. Dont forget while JB is an offensive forward, Mav is a defensive forward and picked up a lot of disposals...

Re: Perspective.

You could almost predict this would happen. We'd been up for 3 big games and we get a bit ahead of ourselves and bang we hit a bit of wall against an oppo prepared to do the hard work (grand finalists too). We are not that ultra-consistent club yet that can win despite not playing its best. But tha...

For memory Fyfe is a big bodied mid whom Saints are well in discussions with?

I can share he is one of two Freo players the Saints have hooks in.

Another article on Gears being favourite to be captain http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-01-12/jarryn-geary-firming-as-new-st-kilda-captain I think based on overwhelming sentiment that this might be right. I just can't fathom the logic of the appointment. To transition from Roo to Gears is same/same ...

If you remember idiot I said the club had an A grade midfielder on top of its recruitment priorities. In the end they recruited Koby Stevens and jack Steele - to bolster their midfield. Was I wrong, I don't think so. I am not picking sides in this but for clarity sake you did say " key positio...

Year on year improvement also not something you've identified . Thank goodness I have not been on this site long enough to read your amazin...
