The main problem is the ball is being kicked haphazardly into the forward line usually resulting in uncontested posessions to the opposition, who quickly run the ball into their forward line.

I recall back in the 90's, at Waverly, Loewe was robbed of a goal because the imbicile goal umpire had the sun in his eyes and the ball was bounced in the goal square. Pity the same rule didn't apply yesterday!

There was nothing wrong with Fraser, the ball delivery into the forward line (until last Sunday) has been haphazard, to say the least. Every time he lead out, they would kick the ball over his head. If he went back, they would kick the ball too short.

RIP Keith Rosewarne

I don't know if this has been posted earlier, but I thought the passing of Saints champ Keith Rosewarne deserved a mention. Described at http://www.fullpointsfooty.net/: He may only have had a comparatively brief VFL career, but St Kilda rover Keith Rosewarne was a bona fide champion whose class sto...

I also see in today's Hun that Collingscum had the bald-faced gall to complain about umpiring at half time! They got three goals from "technical" free kicks and one "goal" hit the post! Did we get ONE free kick inside 50?

According to this article, Alves got St kilda to the GF for the first time in 36 years? Funny, I thought Hawthorn and Footscray played in the 1961 GF. Who played in the '66 and '71 GFs?

At the end of last season, I thought we were on a downward spiral and we blew our chances for a flag in '04 and '05. But with some very good recruiting (the club really did well with what was available) I easilly see us in the top four. Just hope they learned a valuable lesson from last Friday!

Harvs has been an ornament to the game for 20 years, (two Brownlows prove it) which is more than I can say for that modern day "jacko" impersonator

Reckon Geary should have been dropped after being caught holding the ball, whilst standing motionless in the last qtr. Nearly cost us the game.

I reckon anything would be better than the basketball singlet we currently have. Maybe we could put the front cover of "London Calling" on the jersey, now THAT would be a "CLASH" jumper!! (nyuk nyuk) BTW, I'm really peeved Collingwood and Essendon can get away with not having a g...

Saints greatest give-aways?

We have read about the duds, how about players we foolishly lost? Roy Cazaly, Ian Stewart, Val Perovic and Russel Greene spring to mind. Any others?

Kosi always seemed to get hurt when they play him in the ruck. With the ample supply of ruckmen (at long last) Kosi should have another injury free season playing in a key position.... I hope!!

It would be a waste to have Roo or Kosi at full forward, try Brooks. He is a big guy and fast for his size.
