Re: Crab watch

Billings does look comfortable at Melbourne. Looks exactly the same as he did with us. 15-20 disposals. Neat kicking and creative ball use. It's creative of you to think that Billings has creative ball use. Mediocre player 18 touches with 17 being uncontested and disposal efficiency of 61%....yeah ...

Re: Crab watch

Billings is not the type of player you need at your club when you're rebuilding. You need senior players to absorb heat and pressure....and with at least a little bit of a physical presence

We have enough outside runners in our team. Billings is surplus

Re: Crab watch

He’s playing in a good side We'll see how long he holds his spot The young kid Laurie who came on as sub kicked 2 goals. They have Spargo and McAdam. I think both available soon and both play the same position As well as Jake Melsham who will be available later in the year Put any of our smalls in ...

Re: Team v Port

I reckon we'll be doing well if we keep them under 135 points

Port beat North Melbourne last year by 70 points

It was played in Hobart at Blundstone Arena

65-135

Re: Team v Port

I don't think Hayes has shown that he's playing better than Sharman.

Would have been good for Hayes to get a game in his home State, but unfair on any of the current squad of medium talls or forwards to be dropped in my opinion.

Re: Crab watch

Billings 18 possessions 2 tackles Out of those 18 possessions only 1 was contested. So that's 17 disposals where Billings received the footy without a high level of pressure. What would you expect for his disposal efficiency? I'd expect 72% or better. That would be 13 out of 18 touches hitting the ...

Re: Team v Port

Just seems like we're unbalanced. We lack an experienced lock down small defender - can't wait for Jimmy and Ben to become available for senior selection. Too slow in the forward line (we'll probably see Sharman spend half his time on the wing or in defence). Not enough grunt in the middle. Too many...

It's also about developing your talent. We've got an Irishman on our list who was arguably the best young Gaelic footballer in his country. We know he's talented and competitive. We know he's an athlete. What resources are we utilising to get this guy ready and to teach him AFL skills? Do we have a...

Re: AFL exposure for young players

The development side is equally as important as the recruitment and list management. If Ross Lyon truly loves St Kilda...then at the end of his tenure...wait for it... ... he should become coach of Sandringham 😳😳 Whenever that time comes -2027/2028 ??....and I'm certainly not suggesting he s...

What I'd like to see is Steele, Windy and Owens start at the first bounce. I'd like to see more of Stocker in the middle too. Mix it up. Give Marshall an extended break in the forward line with Caminiti rucking for a full quarter...or try resting/managing Rowan at some stage in the next few weeks. W...
