The 1500m world record is 3min 26sec. The 3000m world record is 7min 20 sec. So that means an elite runner can run a 1500m 46.8% faster than a 3000m (ie. in a touch less than half the time which makes sense). Lets apply that logic in the context of the AFL. From memory Chris Judd ran Princes Park (...

Why does everyone get so worked up about how much we are paying for players. Does it really matter? We are paying them as much as other teams are willing to pay to get them off us. Where did you get the previous stats on disposals, as Gram is averaging more than Guerra. As for goals conceded, it is ...

On the coverage, never saw him hit him in the head. Looked like the upper chest, neck area. Need more evidence than that for him to go.

Re: Gram V Guerra

Yes Gram has done well for us and no matter what I say he is with the Saints but, why the F*** did we delist Guerra and in the same year draft Gram?? Guerra has a far better kick to position and has less errors in his disposals and is also better in tackling... Gram kicks the occasional goal, but t...

Didn't see it live, but in no way did the replay show him hitting him above the shoulders. Looked like a forearm to the chest, but I am only going from the tv.

Robert Harvey WAS an ornament to the game.....it was the last presser he will do mentioning harves....and he called him a CONTRIBU...

Looked far from convincing on the two angles channel 10 had. From that, would be unlucky to get anything.

Yes Buddy was useless but it is sad that Hawthorn still managed to slaughter us with their star forward MIA. When Roo doesn't play well we don't kick goals. Hawthorn managed to kick 17 goals minus Buddy. Thats crap. They had 51 inside 50's to 34. It was the midfield that cost us not the forward lin...

Lance Franklin - 8 pos, 1 goal 1 behind.
Lowest posi's for any Hawthorn player, yet we had to put up with hour after endless hour of how good buddy is. He has never played a decent game against St Kilda. For those wanting to get rid of Kosi, he played better than Buddy did.

The first 5 goals of the game from frees. All were there. The umpires paid plenty of frees because both sides didnt play smart footy in the first quarter. Not on your life...5 bulls*** decisions. Not that it matters. Which of those 5 were wrong. I bet if any it will be one the hawks frees. They wer...

They are still talking up Buddy after the game. Talking up his handball to Williams in the last quarter.

I think Kosi should be at FF as well. Roo playing 30m from goal and outwards, and half a high running half forward in the mould of charlie gardiners playing style (how he played in NAB cup). Get a second ruckman or big Benny Mac to back up Kingy. Kosi can Crash packs, make contests, and at least ta...

There is no way he was our worst player tonight, and there is no way we should get rid of him. Perhaps he shouldn't be our "Go to player" but he is still worth a spot on the list.

There are quite a few blokes on the list who have to go before Justin Koschitzke. I think you need to look at the midfield before getting too critical of the forward line. There were a few blokes who put in shockers tonight.

I don't post often, prefer to read what others think. But tonight I was subject to the most one sided coverage of a game of football I have ever seen. Unfortunately I had to move to Sydney two years ago and was unable to come home for tonight (I will be back for the GF) and was therefore required to...

Pretty sure they can throw it out before going to the tribunal. Has happened a few times this year.

MRP will review it and throw it out, won't even go to the tribunal. Difference with milburn was he had him wrapped up and he wasn't close to having the ball. Kosi's was a sling rather than driving him into the ground. Free kick, nothing else.

AFLPA MVP
2004 Nick Riewoldt - St Kilda

His kicking was not that much better in 2004 but was obviously good enough for him to win the MVP.

Does anyone know where there is a list of who got how many votes?
