Re: Rate Ryan Byrnes’ game!

Skeptic were you at the game? If so I wonder where you were sitting. I was on the outer wing, which meant I saw his second quarter up close and it was fantastic. I wonder if you were sitting in another position at the ground or even watching it on TV you could have missed just how vital he was at t...

Re: Match Thread Saints v Freo Round 1 2023

4 out of 5 goals courtesy of the f****** maggots. You would have to be brain dead to say that decisions from maggots have no effect on a games outcome. I won't even mention f****** unwarranted 50 metre penalties Learn the rules. Silly decisions by our captains. I am well aware of the rules. Are you...

Re: Match Thread Saints v Freo Round 1 2023

Yes our transitions are better. Our ball movement is better. We are cleaner in tight. Freo getting a lot of F50 intercept marks but to be expected with King, Hayes and Members out.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Freo Round 1 2023

Am at the game and have to say it's pretty well impossible to adjudge the split second umpiring decisions from the stands. Watching at home you get a much better idea of whether it's a valid free or not.

Re: Why Saints Must Finish Bottom 4 2023

I think play our best fit team and let the results fall as they may. Given our injury list that may well be bottom four. If you give games to kids ahead of good, established players, what does it say about selection integrity? Genuine competition for spots is at the heart of successful clubs and th...

Re: Australia in India: Train Wreck?

Brook has had a good start and a good series in Pakistan, but I think those numbers will dip down quite a bit as he faces some stiffer competition. He looks.pretty formidable and solid as f***. Took Southee and Wagner to the cleaners in NZ. Bats like a quality one day player and solid test player a...

Yes, congrats to Usman, well deserved on many levels.
Looks like the Poms have a beauty as well in Harry Brook. Averaging 89 after 6 tests.

Re: Australia in India: Train Wreck?

I think that Australian wickets are consistent. Brisbane is nearly always a green top, Adelaide good for batting with a bit of movement, WACA was always quick. Melbourne bit of a mixed bag and Sydney a turner. Not so much nowadays. It's been homogenised with the era of drop in wickets. But no I don'...

Re: Australia in India: Train Wreck?

If the Aussies didn’t sh*t the bed multiple times in the second Test we’d be 2-1 up. So I don’t think the ‘cheating’ or the pitches are the number 1 culprits for the series results. No not saying they are. Just noting how systemic the impulse to take advantage is in India. The lack of sportsmanship...

Re: Australia in India: Train Wreck?

Re the article above. Deliberately watering different parts of the pitch differently for the first test is the clearest example of the lengths the Indians will go to to make their home advantage insurmountable. And the curators are centrally employed and wear Indian team kit. Okay. But they're not c...
