Still no input from the posting public?

No lessons learnt?

Hmmmm.

I'm sure even Grant Thomas is wiser in hindsight.

Just a few too many recruitments were done on a "seemed like a good idea at the time" principle.

Agree with 66...... I hope you still will be posting Snoops.

Moderator collateral damage? Only if shot by friendly fire.

Seems strange that Snoop's departure was not announced by current admin/mods.

also, grumpy is also wrong about Lovett not being allowed to ply his trade. He is allowed to play any footy , anywhere, except in the AFL. So wafl, vfl, sanfl, etc. I wasn't going to post in this thread any more, but I have to correct that comment. http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/long-spell-w...

Well Mat, as has been pointed out to me many times, neither applies on a privately owned footy forum.

I thought someone had resurrected a thread from last year, or maybe the year before, or maybe the year before or the year before that. Some players will never be recognised for their true worth to the team, and some will not get the popular acclaim they deserve. Raph is one of those. I hope he does ...

Giving up any further discussions on this matter. Too many posters are willing to declare him guilty before he has been proven guilty. Don't understand it. All say that racism is not a factor. Yet this guy has been hung, drawn and quartered without anyone hearing his side of the story? Why? Haven't ...

[ I'm still unsure what it is you actually want them to do? Reward Lovett? Pay him a reasonable amount of money, and get rid of the diversion to what can be a really good season. Its a dirty business, and everyone involved is going to get splashed with the mud that will be flying around. Cut our lo...

The question is should Lovett be covered by the same sort of employment laws we are covered by, or is it different because his job is playing footy? The Saints are only in this position because the leadership group gave them an ultimatum, and with the best team ever to put on the jumper, premiershi...

Latest update on the saga... http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/saints-want-hearing-delayed-20100319-qmcf.html Must admit I don't like the way the club is not respecting the previously agreed upon disbute resolution procedures, but I've said my piece about that previously. Hopefully this is all ...

No, we are not flag favourites....... and that is not such a bad thing. A little less pressure is good.

I'm happy with it.

Re: Stress and me.

Is there any other Footy Tragics out there like me? AT the "66 GF final siren, I just stood there. I was so full of emotion I could'nt speak or anything. Nowadays when I watch Footy, even if we are 30 points up at half time, and they kick a point in the last half, I feel angina, and all stress...
