Just saw a replay of it. You could see by Dermet's body language the hatred for St Kilda he has. Really enjoys knocking the club & for whatever reason focused heavily on Paddy. King was for once good. Had a few negatives but that's to be expected. I also noticed they sink the boots into Tom Boyd.

We have a lot of depth in players who are about at the same level but are not stars. Looking back, it seems the 2 for 1 trades were probably not the right way to go. We need more quality now. I can't believe the class he showed despite only being his 2nd game back since a major injury. Will get better as the season progresses.

The kid is the full package. He's started his career in a similar role to GAJ & will also transition into the midfield. No pressure.

Clearly best 22, probably best 10. Underrated by many (except the coaches and team mates, who actually know his worth) He is an effective small defender, and has performed that role consistently for years. Possibly the second best leader at the club too... & this sums up where we are as a team....
