Agreed… Seb Ross consistently makes skill and decision errors that a player of his experience should not. He’s a fringe player at best in a good team.

Poor efficiency and accuracy….and a lack of on-field leadership was/is the problem.

I think the problem for Ratts is that apart from Steel our leadership group were not up to. The best teams generaly have the best leaders. It’s hard to coach when your best leaders aren’t on the park and the ones you have out there regularly make skill and decision errors. Guys like Ross and Membrey...

In order to be an effective leader of any kind you need to be a good communicator.... An AFL senior coach needs to be an elite communicator these days, this attribute is the most important part of the job.
