Re: The tackle is dead.

No tackling or bumping lol Welcome to the GAYFL. Gotta love casual homophobia when Sydney and St Kilda were celebrating pride and inclusion in that game!   Fkn spare me 🥴🙄 Nope. No place for it at all. It might have been mildly amusing 40 years ago, but it's not funny now. I’ll s...

Re: Where we are at

If someone said at the start of the season that we'd be fifth at the bye, I would have taken it. I'm refusing to get caught up in week-to-week results and I'm withholding any judgment till the end of the season, whenever that is.

Even if it means we just drive up the price and force them into a salary cap squeeze, making other players available.

We've just missed the finals the past two years. The list hasn't changed substantially. We got rid of the coach to get a better one. He has to make finals or else it's a failed season.

This. Counts for nothing. Doubt we'll even set up that way in round one.

Depending what narrative you read and when, St Kilda either has a crap list or has underachieved. It can't be both.

Re: Looking forward to 2023?

This time last year my thought was we weren't tough enough mentally to make a go of it and so it proved. I haven't seen anything yet that has made me change my mind. We may have tougher people running the admin in Lethlean and Walsh, but the players are still the players.

I can cop being undermanned. I can't cop a lack of effort, or picking and choosing when to go. If they can't do the non-negotiables, then perhaps they should hand back their contract and look for another club.

Simple for the players - take any frustration out on the next opponent tackled. It's now - more than ever - up to the fans to give it to the umpires to keep them accountable. Nobody else can/is.

Looks like a healthy in take for next season. Got a top 10 pick plus the 2 NGA kids rated in the top 25. Throw in Heath as one of the best Under age rucks and the wildcard Sharman who looks promising. Genuinely think we have a bit of tradable currency as well. Who is tradeable. Billings and Dunstan...

It's staggering My hatred for this Match Committee is fast approaching the level I had for Cho’s dribblers who selected Weller 44 more times than he deserved and put up with Jack Newnes 150 straight games of lazy mediocrity. Fvck - can’t we just play the only decent kids we have - against a bottom ...

Re: When was the last time members got to vote ...

... on who was on the board? I think this is an important discussion. Clubs often tell members how valuable the member is. And substantially that is true. 50,000 members equates to a lot of income. However when it comes to elections there always seems to be an eerie silence. I was intrigued by a co...
