Neil Besanko "Racehorse" was a competent half back.
He was one of the fastest players I have seen at the Saints, along with Aussie Jones 2-3 decades later.

Aussie of course, was also a very fine half back (and wing), with pin-point disposal.

I would have Trott as the best wingman. Winmar was perhaps a more complete player, but played more as a half forward. He even starred at full forward when Plugger was out.
