Ahmet or Pelch mentioned this a couple of weeks ago (just after the 19 signed, I think). Some in the media take a while to catch on !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

I'd think Jack would be worth something like 500k for 4 years — if he rejects that for a better offer we would get first round compensation.

Is that about right?

Touch and go. Would rather just keep him. We can keep losing 24 year olds. We will end up with bugger all over 23 in about 3 years.

yeah means nothing. he most liekly will put off contract talks till th end of next season, and the saints will have to field questions all year about it. and then some other club will offer 700k and he will go..

that sounds more likely the scenario.

but if that happens, saints will get band 1 compensation.

Expect in this environment they will offer 4 years at around 600K with bonuses based on B& F etc. Also expect he will sign before season ends

It's all part of the grand plan Stinger. Next years draft will be the best ever. We'll pick up the Brownlow medalist, Norm Smith medalist and Coleman medalist in the same draft :D

He is worth 600 for 4 or a bit less for 5
