might get howled down but I thought Gilbert just about best defender for us.

He was not effective for about 60-70 minutes of the game. Needs to build on that performance today.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

I didn't rate his game.....
Won some footy playing loose in the last but was well beaten by Patrenko most of the game. Really, enough of this freeing him up bulls***... He needs to sacrifice his possession game and pick up a key forward...
He is our strongest overhead defender.... Play on a key fwd is more important to us than getting a cheap kick behind the ball.
