Who agrees

that Jack Watts is the softest weakest No.1 since Richard Launder

Absolute gutless wonder

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Roos just considered his game great.... He walked around us at times and set up 3 of their goals

Not sure why you think he played poorly

A great player would have taken control, and imposed themselves after the goalless second qtr. Watts dod nothing, didn't do anything to inspire his teammates and played like a seagull.

easy to waltz around first game players, watts is a simpering flat track bully.

sure the beaten coach would talk him up. But I dont rate softcock efforts like watts. More skillthan most, but is a squib

At the ground he was soft as butter. Pulls out of anything physical. I was wondering if they showed it on TV because he makes Fiora look like a he man.

Agreed. Softer than Delta Goodram

He played pretty well, but has no presence and will never be a leader, as soon as he was manned up he went missing...
I wonder if he is a victim of their poor culture?

I couldn't see the numbers but he obviously racked them up just not got any ability to assert himself on a contest. I wish him well he seems like a good guy just glad we didn't fork out a number one pick for him. He deliberately pulls up short if a couple of players get in front of him.

Does anyone including Melbourne supporters seriously think they made the right choice in Watts instead of Nick Nat?

I find this thread interesting

Winning the footy and setting up goals.... Is not imposing.

He's not Joel Selwood.... But 27 with good efficiency, run and carry and there best Assist player... I'm confused?

yup second best player against a team widely picked to be the wooden spooner.

The guy is a piss weak soft c**k

We won the clearances 40 to 30 with our midfield out.

Need I comment further?

He should be doing mor e than he does. Is soft at the contest and is a seagull.

27 possessions - wow - only 12 less than Clint Jones.

A no.1 pick who has a heart of a pea.

There was another No.1 in No.12.

Who has the pea heart, who has the heart of a champion?

Roos has been telling the football world exactly that since he took over at Melbourne. I think Roos knew Watts doesn't like the physical stuff

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Understatement. Should have dominated against a bunch of young mids. Will never be known as hard ball get Watts. Biggest softie since Bryce Squibbs

There are some real nobs on this site. He played a good game tonight.
I would love to have some saints players who kick the ball as well as him.
