Draw as good as a win

Post: # 1721532Post Enrico_Misso »

Our pathetic start has given us a low percentage.

Let's assume we turn things around and win 10 more games.

If we had won today we would wind up with 12 wins but with an inferior percentage to any other teams with 12 wins.
But given we drew we would wind up with 11.5 wins, so still above the 11 wins sides and still below the 12 win sides.

Either way our final ladder position will be the same*
So count today as a WIN.

* (assuming no other draws and GWS finish well above).

Yup. Not getting thumped was nice in the short term.
