Lots and lots of it this morning. But I have to admit not very accurate.

Tony - was it just set shot practise or a mix with snaps, taking shots under pressure etc?

Set, snaps and pressure shots. Many times during the session, not just at the end.

Dicko actually seems to have disappeared, even from Fox footy. What's going on tony 74?

Accurate kicking for goal has been an issue, although not as bad as last year. I don't reckon they're getting enough shots a goal, for the time the ball spends in our forward half.

Tony Lockett is wasted on dogs.
We need him training our guys to kick for goal.
Any U Tube clip and you can see why he was accurate and our guys scatter shots like a shot gun.

Lockett never waved the ball from side to side and never swaggered in.
His ball drop was always over his kicking foot and deliberately a short drop.
He always watched the ball on to his foot, right on to his foot.
Whatever our goal kicking coaches are teaching is WRONG, Lockett proved he was correct.
You will know we have a goal kicking coach when our players look like Tony Lockett taking a shot on goal.

I wonder if our sports scientists had a day off, so the troops could practice without getting yelled at
that they would get muscle tears in the quads

Or even Matty Lloyd. We need a dead eye dick to come down and show the boys how its done. Is Dermie working on this also?

Nothing is so infuriating than watching all our hard work undone with that fiinal kick. Im hoping AR is making it an absolute priority to fix, as its costing him his career.

Snap shots are also at a premium. I wonder how much practice is put into those. Once the forward 50 gets congested, you need a player who can chuck the ball on his foot and knows where the goals are - Milney was one, west coast has had a few. Spin 'em round three times and then kick the goal off a step.

A player is capable of kicking twice as many snap shots if they can genuinely kick with both feet.
Junior coaches that don't teach kids to kick with both feet are not coaches.
They are someone's dad having a good time.

Parker. Skunk. Savage had all the time in the world, like a training drill. Very accurate indeed to hit a wooden post

Next coach will make it a non negotiable for a player chosen as a forward. 60%+ or go home.
