That part 4 of 4 Moorabbin story is brilliant! Memories come flooding back. Can't tell me that the passion and simplicity of it all back then wasn't far better than the corporate bullsh!t we've got today. So much passion,now it's all been lost to a reserved seating theatre going atmosphere
20 years on the people in the crowd interviewed were right. We were all told we'd be better off moving financially,and we'd create a new home like Moorabbin. Yeah we became better,but you can't honestly say going to the footy was ever the same again. It was a privelidge to be able to say I was there for the combination of Lockett and Moorabbin days,those that weren't really missed out

The wonderful Winmar - Lockett / Harvey - Locket combinations, the great efforts of lesser remembered types like Bowey, Pekin and Couglin, awesome efforts from a time where we started to believe again.
