I agree. The win means nothing tonight if you are talking premierships in 2011. We are no chance for a cup this year. However the positives are Stevens. If he keeps it up we've found our first candidate for a keeper.
Were you around in 1997?
around where?
Did you actually follow the club?
Which club. I grew up in Mornington and there were a few around the place.
Tyabb.
Beleura under 13s was the end of the line for me.

Well we won, so we have put the brakes on the slide, but it hasn't done much to my confidence.
Shneider was by far our best.
Jack got better as the game went on, Armo was consistent.
Kosi, looked like his first game of the season and was poor, but would still give him another week.
Stanley was very disappointing.
Goddard had another very poor game by his standard.
Roo, had no where the influence he usually would have.
We just guts that win out.
Well Adelaide next, if we can win there then we may just be on our way back.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

Roo's attack on the ball was non existent.
Stevens was a positive.
Goddard is vacant and maybe the wave of offers from other clubs is weighing him down.

So according to the telecast we lost on all the standard metrics, so I guess we can say we stole the game

Gee, we have some fair weather supporters.

The jumping off the bandwagon is amazing, especially in regards to the form of our better players. Yes some our down on form, but have a few credits in the bank I would have thought.

Goddard looked relieved, the longer they went without a win the bigger the pressure. He is competitive as is the captain, that looked like a pressure valve blew off with the victory. He had 26 possies and would be his average. he played such a great finals series we lifted our expectations.

I thought Ray was very good tonight - particularly in the last quarter.

A couple of cheap goals, were still out weighed by his turn overs.

All good cheats put themselves in good positions to get the ball, but most of them hurt the opposition unfortunately Gram usually aids the opposition with his sh*t disposal by hand and foot.

Yes, this is actually true.

We are winning the game. The commentators give me the impression that we are losing by 10 goals though. Gerrard wately relishes the utterance of phrases like "stkilda well and truly off their game tonight."
Gerard Whateley is a snivelling little Geelong hanger-on. He is beneath contempt.

f*** you gerrard wately.
As I said Whateley is squibby little Geelong tragic...he hates St Kilda.

Is it like Keith of the Stones.....he changed his name to Richard, 'cause he hated his dad. Later he changed it back to Richards.

F%%%%K all the negativity...we won a game!

Don't you realise not all of the wins last year, or even the 19 straight in 2009 were spectacular. Some were just like tonight.. a hard slog, frustrating, with moments of brilliance.
