I would be dropping Gram before BJ.

Just put BJ back in the backline, rather than as a contested ball mid where he is struggling.

Alternatively...wing or HF.
Agree. Jason Gram has been down on previous form and looks like a couple weeks at Sandy might sharpen his appetite for AFL. Giving BJ a specific job for the next game might be a start to his return to form. The backline is the spot for him at present, not the middle.

Although I joked about making 9 changes,
After a 60-odd point turn-around loss, where effort was the biggest problem, surely we'll need to make more than 1 or 2 changes?

I'm not asking Lynch to come in and play like Fisher, but he just maybe could contribute as much as McQualter? (Polo had 13 disposals, but 6 of them didn't go to us!)

It's a shame that Lynch and Johnson were hurt last week, it's a cherry ripe week for a call-up…

Does anyone have any info on how Geary is going?

They should get in as many kids that are ready as possible ... What they need to do is scrap ALL structures & play man up... one on one football... That way... You find out really quickly who are the ones willing to have a crack, who are the ones that have become passengers and in regards to the young kids... Who are the ones that are going to cut the mustard at this level.

On the basis of that article Gram is gone, as is Mini, obviously Bakes, and possibly another couple. Make no mistake, the new era starts now.

The big positive about losing is making plenty of changes each week.

Makes Thursday night mire interesting, even if match day is waste of time!
