thought it was quite a good read. not trying to be too ambitious. don't mind emma quayle.
interesting to think about the players, like the supporters, are dying to know how it will pan out.
and you would have to think new training regimes for the older players is a good thing.
as a result we may see a little more creativity as opposed to drilled footy

I liked it, gave a small amount of insight and good to hear them looking forward
Ben mentioned in one of his stories duiring the week the book ' The Draft' where he met Emma and said he still keeps in touch,
she lets us see the personal side of players, and their character, not just stats but their thinking
But that's how it needs to be. I think. I don't think we need to just play them just because they're young. I don't think we're in a position where we need to do that. If they deserve it, I'm all for it, and it was similar when I started. We had a lot of us coming through, basically all at the same time, but I always felt we had to earn our spot and I'd like to think it's the same now. We'll see some new players but I'm like anyone — I'm looking forward to seeing how it all pans out, and I've loved the last three months. Hopefully it can continue. I guess we'll all find out.”

NDS had a vintage year last year because he was going deeper into packs and heavy traffic to
get his own footy, in the absence of Lenny. It really opened up another side of his game.
Keep doing it this year Nick!

and the alternate article- successfull- almost
http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/s ... 1tejk.html
Dal Santo expects supporters to notice some new things when they see the Saints play for the first time under coach Scott Watters next week — a few new faces, and some new tactics that “aren't dramatic or ground-breaking, but some good tweaks to the game plan we had last year”. But he doesn't think the club needs to make any dramatic changes to move straight back up the ladder.
