Funding Colorado

Post: # 1273891Post St.Roly »

Just got hit up by the Club for a $200 raffle ticket with the proceeds going to fund the high altitude training.

Better show some results...

Well you dont actually get it back. You would get some return probably close to 50%. I think they would be paying some as it is but I dont know many jobs, unless self employed, where people pay for a work trip.

in terms of fitness i believe in the benefits of high altitude training.
Colorado would be an interesting destination 4 the players - pretty close to Arizona (Grand Canyon etc.) which seemed to be a winner 4 the pies. I wonder if Scotty went over with them before they faced us in the 2010 GF? I think north went over there last year.
Anyway with new players coming on board the potential bonding under the watchful eye of Watters with altitude benefits could be a good result all round.

Bought one too. I think they said they had 300 tickets to sell and at $200 each that is a fair amount of money and I would think a lot more than what's needed for a Colarado exercise. Anyway good luck to them if they sell them all. I just want to win the bloody thing.

$60,000 would probably only cover the airfares unfortunately.

I think the prize is $40K - which, if there are only 300, obviously means that "only" around $20K profit goes to the trip (I think there are some small consolation prizes too).
