Pick Victorians !

As we have no early picks I think the saints should only select Victorians !
I know you should always pick the best available talent , but pick 25 and over are going to be the type of player who may or may not have a long career .
and we don't want another cripps senario , where we've developed a potentially 200 game player for an interstate side , and basically have gotten an eighteen year old kid in return .

I agree, if we have the chance to pick up a w.a "bargain" go for it but if they re roundabout the same pick as a vic or even a s.a player , choose them for sure. This whole needing to go home thing is gettin old pretty quick. These players getting a chance from a vic side then deciding they just have to return to the most isolated city in the world is annoying. West coast and freo just sit back rubbing their hands together. I know it works both ways , however a player coming back to vic has up to ten sides fighting for them.
