Some really good signs

Post: # 1318360Post Cairnsman »

We aren't going to get too high up the ladder this year but already after the first 3 rounds there are some really good positives.

Stanley...He has really stepped up. Looks like he is going to be a top liner

Roberton...Wow. Where did he come from. Awesome find.

Wright...when was the last time we witnessed a debut like that.

Sadd...I would bet my life on his kicking for goal.

Armo...Like Stanley he looks like he's taken his game up a level...4 goals. Well done.

Yeah it's been really good the pace at which players have been introduces. I reckon Lee look ok too. I'm surprised some want him dropped for next week. Give him a few games in a row. Nothing to lose.

Great comment. You are absolutely on the money. I would add Lee to the list. He clearly wasn't as impressive as Wright who has all the hallmarks of becoming a gun. Just love watching Wright's run and carry. Lee had reasonable stats and will only get better. Also loved Jack Steven's game. He and Armitage are huge improvers. But.....GWS were crap.

Isn't it great to see Stanley kikcking out from full back. 50 m passes that hit the intended target on the full.

Yeah, it's going to be tough. But some positive signs and better than losing.

Here's the team song after the game.
