I mean really ASADA is just taking the piss out of Saad, aren't they?

What is a joke is what ASADA list as peformance enhancing drugs.
No what is a joke is that there is any sign of enhanced performance coming out of Seaford this year!
A Saad of course being an anagram of Asada...

Sigh, trust us...

This life was sent to try us....

You can listen to Bristle tell you Carlton are still a massive chance at 28 points down with two minutes to go, you can listen to him tell you all about Lorne, or you can watch a monkey on a pushbike...I know which I prefer...

I think I am misinterpreting or misumderstanding the rules - why has Saad's name been published? Is the 3 strike policy only for non-performance enhancing drugs? Can someone please explain rules etc.

3 Strike policy is for "Recreational" Drugs.

Performance Enhancing Drugs attract a sanction as soon as they are "Positively" detected in your system or it can be proven that you took or intended to take them !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

The rules basically are, if you have a strong PR or media department you can suppress names with legal threats and injunctions

We, apparently, can't....

"Un-named Victorian Club" being the prime example..........

I need a drink, this is doing my head in

What's the club going to say?

And why is it so important that they say something?

Who really cares? A bloke who couldn't get a game anyway, stuffed up or didn't stuff up.

Whatever!

It's important because we are faceless at the best of times, this is not the best of times.

So they cant help get the penalty down from the maximum to 6 months.

Excellent point. He is only a fringe player so sponsors wont care.

Persdonally, I find it highly irritating when a club makes a statement.

Everyone knows it's lies. And very rarely gives an insight whatsoever as to what is actually going on.

It's a waste of everyone's time and more often than not an insult to everyone's intelligence. It certainly doesn't help anyone.

We're cactus this year, and next anyway. Saad hasn't been getting a game anyway - so who really cares.

Once he cops his ban, then let us know.

Until then, I don't really care.

He'd probably say 'right' and then everyone would turn on Nathan

Just heard Westaway 'interviewed' on his way into the club... said he was going in to find out what's going on and that he didn't know much/anything about it.

Seems the AFL don't know anything/much either.... maybe Saad didn't even know?

Good work ASADA, leaking like a sieve.

Not much chance IMO plugger
Its quite clear that excuses for taking stuff that's on a banned list is unacceptable.
Anyway, he might be cleared by late in the week. It did only say an irregular sample?!..

U never know.

You don't care....

We do want to seem like a club in control though.

How is it lying to just tell everyone you're aware Saad is being investigated by Asada? Who said anything about the sponsors board and someone talking to the press? Just issue a statement on the website.

We had an opportunity of about 3 hours this morning before Caro ran with the name, you're welcome to your opinion, but for mine.....it would of looked much better coming from us than her.

Oh that just fills one with confidence.

So the story broke 12pm last night and our President is just rocking up now to find out what's going on?

Either that is untrue and paints a poor picture, or we're really being led poorly as a footy club.

Looked beter to who?

The dickheads that ring SEN and hang s*** on everything?

Seriously, what does this matter in the scheme of things? It does not matter one iota.

If it was a bunch of dudes cheating, or the club cheating - then clearly it would be a big concern. But even the tabloid footy media are playing this one down.

Non-issue for mine.
