Saints in Controversial Treatment! (take with grain of salt)

Post: # 1372219Post Dr Spaceman »

http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/quest ... 2rguk.html

"An increasing number of alternative clinics are charging people hundreds of dollars to sit in ''salt caves'' for respiratory illnesses and skin complaints such as asthma, eczema and cystic fibrosis.

AFL footballers have also turned to salt therapy to see if it shortens recovery time between games. But medical practitioners say they are not convinced of the therapy and suggest people consult their doctors before paying for it because it could exacerbate their condition...."

Good lord.
Next we'll all be covering ourselves head to toe in kelp because of the sea minerals.
Then it will be kelp sewn Skins...kelp drinks, sleeping on kelp, washing your hair in kelp

You really have to wonder what possible benefit it could have compared with , ( for example ) going for a swim in the ocean or a salt water pool.

Not great for the Arteries!!

"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

If this treatment works, I sure could use a bit for a bronchial-type cold I've been unable to shrug off. Probably set me back a fair few bucks though.

Could've used it for Leigh Fisher, Sam Fisher & Danny Frawley.

Would've had a nice meal of lightly salted Fish n Chips and potato cakes :)

Wait until Caro gets wind of it, she'll go off like a fire cracker

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Whatever the supposed benefits, nothing has worked this season!

Could be worse, the headline could have read "Saints Charged With a Salt" or something worse. Lucky The Truth is long out of print!

Calling all Sainters (or Salters)

Fans are invited to come with their beloved team on a new type of training camp! Forget about the altitude in Boulder; forget about Arizona; and forget about being injected in some industrial area of Tullamarine...

We are off to....

LAKE HART IN SOUTH AUSSTRALIA!

Yes, a huge dry salt lake awaits fans and players who can brave the 3 day bus there (four if leaving from Seaford). But once arriving at this wondrous place out the back of Bumfuck, all the sporting technology in the world cannot compete with salt caves...BUILT BY YOU, SIDE BY SIDE WITH ROO, DAL, LENNY AND OTHER OLD SALTS!
