Don't mind the idea of this... haven't seen much of him... 194cm 99kg right what we're looking for.

Another to look at GWS Josh Bruce
There are quite a few clubs looking at Bruce from GWS, the more that bid the bigger the chance of paying overs

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

I think Bruce could be expensive but from what I have seen of him he is athletic and could be a really damaging CHB.
Delaney is far more of the stay at home FB style so you could certainly play them both.
We have only Fisher and a couple of kids, who do not look like they have the goods, as true Key backs at the moment and Fishers best work is played running off half back rather than playing a defensive role.

Fisher is not a key back. He was played their out of neccessity but that isn't his position.

We have two key position backs to trade for, which leaves Simpkin, Dempster, Gwilts, Gilbert, Robbo, Ferg and Fisher to take the third tall forward. Holy cow, you wouldn't want to be a third tall forward coming up against St Kilda!!

Lance or James??

He is just another HBF, we already have enough of them. He is not a KPD like what where after. As I said a few months back I think Ben Griffiths would be a good get. If we got say him and Delaney our defence would be much better.

Hope Stkilda play the Delaney situation smart with a guarantee to him providing he does not agree trade they will get him for nothing the same way they got Roberton from Freo.
Would like them to offer a deal for Bruce from Gws as he is the one we really need longterm left foot good skills.

Agree but Delaney is the equal of Brown- proper lump backman. Won't win many games himself but will push Cloke, Brown, Clark and Dawes around and make their day hard. Bruce would offer more in the way Dawson played IMO.

Dawson was actually very good despite giving away some dumb frees.

My North Melbourne supporter friends don't think very much of Delaney. I don't know much about him, so I'll take their word for it.

What would Fisher be worth?

Could we use him in a trade to get Bruce?

They need experience, we need youth.

I'm guessing Bruce would be worth more than Fisher at this stage of their careers.

IMHO Fisher is worth about a pick #40-50.

I'm not sure about that, but if you're right then we should definitely keep him - he's worth more than that to us.

Yep. Too late to trade him now. That ship has sailed. Keep him for next year and just hope his foot is ok.

Rumours that Big ben could be on the table if the deal is right. Could be a very interesting trade period.

Jon Ralph tweeting that Bruce has nominated us. Must be a story in herald sun.

I know nothing about him. Has he played much?
