I often wonder with Watters sacking and given he was treading water for awhile, how did the club sell their vision to our.new recruits, i wonder how they.would be feeling now ?

I would've loved to have been a fly on the wall, surely the new guys would've heard the rumblings that were going on

Were they told that there may be a change and perhaps who it might be.

Far fetched and unusual but hey....We are the Saints..Expect the unexpected !!!!

I reckon all of Savage, Longer, Bruce & Delaney left for the same reason… more opportunity (& money)

They should all be able to get a game with us regardless of the coach, but I guess it still should be a bit of shock losing your coach before you've even turned up for a training session.

I think that the Pelican and the board know thre was going to be a change of coach before the trade period but the coach didn't and it was kept quiet so we could get some trading done. And I do think it may have at least made those young blokes who nominated us as a preferred club think a bit different if it had happened before the draft

Just remembering when the Pelican's email arrived a few of us thought it had a bit of - everything is in hand...we have a plan. But we wondered if it was preceding some other news. Maybe it was.
