11 possessions, 3 marks and 1 point.

Don't think the ball was down there much given the fact they lost by over 120 points.

Nobody.

And nobody compared White to Buddy. he had one passage of play two years ago where he took a mark played on three bounces and kicked the goal, some said it was Buddy like.

Nobody ever said he was the new Buddy

Lance or James??

Great news, straight in for Gwilt.
Upgrade Weller for the Wright injury and bring him in for Saunders.
Done.

I'm looking forward to a match review from thunda and/or the zebra man.
Things seem to be ticking over well down at Sandy.

Don't want to get ahead of myself - but is there a feeling amongst the regular Sandy watchers that this years side could play finals?

Feeling amongst all players all preseason was they were up and about and could play finals. Think what is good is the alignment is working, the Sandy listed players playing in seniors are some of best in VFL. Its a real team effort across the board. So much competiion for spots. People might hate the 15 player cap in place, but dont underestimate the benefits its having across the entire list from both clubs. It's a really happy place and just hope it continues for rest of year. A winning culture is paramount in player development, that is whats happening at moment.

Isn't there a problem with the Dev League though? They seem to be getting thumped a lot.

Williamstowns Dev Squad team would beat a few VFL senior teams.. They are probably cheating the salary cap again!! Hasn't been great past 2 weeks for the Devs though, hopefully they can recapture form round 1 and get back on track.

Acres played well yesterday. Just reads the play so well and makes something of his possessions.

Weller dominated!

39 possessions and 3 goals?! What a game! Is there a specific time when upgrades occur? Or could weller be upgraded this week if the club felt he deserved it?

If there is a player who is out for more than 8 weeks he can be upgraded or he waits until round 11. As good as he played he wont be upgraded unless they want to play him. Last week it was Shenton for everyone this week Weller. Luckily the cljub dont go earlt otherwise there would be no spot for one of them.

Happy to be proven wrong, particularly when it means we win or a player proves me wrong.

I try not to bump all the correct calls I make, that's a bit sad I reckon.

I cant believe people bump wrong calls unless its to prove people who nver say they are wrong, wrong. You are happy to admit wrong like 95% of people so what the point. Dragit bump some correct calls. There are a few who either bump them or tell us about them.

To be fair, I don't think saintly was having a go, merely saying everything is easier in hindsight.

Essendon's first few weeks were absolutely blistering & we were awful last week so I was very pleasantly surprised on sat night.

there has to be a space- ie Long term Injury - Yes there is
there has to be a role/ position where the player is needed-- Who wouldn't play/ who to drop/

given our financial situation- ie being cautious- why pay more - as he would be upgraded, if he doesn't play
