Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
We lost by 71, surely not everyone did their job?
IN: Simpkin
OUT: Gwilt/Shenton
Easily a spot there for Minchington but it appears he can't play. Pretty short-sighted by the club - surely there could have been an LTI spot for him a few weeks ago?

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Its sounds like Holmes would have been given a game this week, but they cant promote rookies after Round 19. I doubt that put Pierce up against Marich he would get monstered. I definitely want to see White in the team for the last couple to see what he got?Saint wagga wrote:IN: White, Pierce

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
A team that gets beaten by almost 12 goals should have a few changes, and the Sandy team had a good win- reward the Saints who did well at Sandy...TDL, Minch, maybe Dunell. AR is obviously giving some players their last chance to prove themselves after his recent comments.

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
How does Gwilt get dropped, played in forward line.. ball went in there about 20 times to half time, him as target maybe twice, then got subbed
Unfortunately Saunders looks a little out of his depth
And as I said a few weeks ago they will be trying to get as many players as possible qualified for a Sandy finals game

Minchington cannot play and I dont go along with giving players like Dunell and TDL their last chance. What happens if they do well? Surely its to late now. All it does is confuse things. Same happened last year with ledger and then we couldnt understand when he was delisted because he did OK but his papers were stamped. Surely Dunell and TDL have their papers stamped. Having said that im not saying they wont play but I wouldnt pick them.

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
I'd like to see White given a chance for the last two games, but probably won't happen.
Can't see any obvious changes but after a 12 goal loss, I'd imagine there'll be a couple.

He did not get many chances so how do you tell that he had a bad game

I agree. I think TDL and Dunnell were given their last chance last time they were picked. Not much to be gained in selecting either of them this week.plugger66 wrote:spert wrote:A team that gets beaten by almost 12 goals should have a few changes, and the Sandy team had a good win- reward the Saints who did well at Sandy...TDL, Minch, maybe Dunell. Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
According to Ralphy, White must play.
He's scored a massive 17 goals from 10 games and averaged an incredible 11 possies a game.

If that translated into AFL he'd average the 2nd most goals only behind Roo on our list. May as well give him a go but after listening to the Pelican I doubt we'll see him this year.saintspremiers wrote:According to Ralphy, White must play.

Savage needs to play for Sandy to be eligible for Sandy finals.
Play him for a quarter and then he gets "injured"

I hope you are joking. If we drop a player so they can play VFL finals then the club has hit a low that I wouldnt want to see.
