NAB matches

Post: # 1529378Post Stephen Theodore »

Hoping someone on here can answer my question.

Does our Saints membership include the NAB games, and if so, where do we get the tickets ?

My understanding is yes it does
iF you have games membership then you just scan in--

if you have a no game membership you log and get a free ticket... But will re check my mail

I have queried if you still need a paper ticket other than your membership.

For the first time in over a decade AFL and club members with game access will have free General Admission entry to those NAB Challenge matches in which their club is competing (subject to availability, upgrade fees may be applicable).
Become a Saints member TODAY! Click HERE or call 1300 467 246.

http://www.saints.com.au/news/2015-01-2 ... -challenge
Access with Club or AFL Membership to NAB Challenge matches is subject to capacity and not guaranteed. The AFL notes this venue has a limited capacity and due to demand for this match, strongly recommends that all members upgrade to a ticket to guarantee their entry. Membership upgrades are subject to availability on a first come, first serve basis and subject to an additional fee. Transaction fees also apply. To upgrade your membership enter your membership barcode number in the space provided.
Just had a look and upgrade costs $6 for Morwell game

Fisrt game Vs Brisbane at Burpengary- is ticketmaster and initial look does not allow me to add member bar code- Ticket price $18

Thanks Saintbrat.

Oh well, $18 it is, am keen to look at the kids, and Burpengary is less than an hour from home.

It's crazy that all nab games aren't broadcast on Foxtel.

Amazing. When you won 20 million at lotto did you complain it wasn't 30 million?

I'd reckon there are grounds being played on that don't have suitable facilities for TV broadcasting.

I wasn't aware there was even a ground upto elite AFL standard in Burpengary, yet it's only 40-45 minutes down the road from where I live. Presumably a big logistical job to have it up to scratch for commentators, cameras, etc.

St, any chance you go down there and film it on your mobile, then post it here afterwards?
You could do a running commentary too. Could lead to bigger things.
Thanks in advance.

The AFL probably will make that illegal and will sentence you to a flogging for even thinking of filming it, even though they are incapable of it.

Simple - if it's too hard to broadcast from a venue , play somewhere where you can. At least have a webcast on each teams website if not on Foxtel.

They are bloody practice matches. Im sure we can live without seeming them. Under the old system as soon as you were knocked out you couldn't seem them again so you may only see one game. Better to take practice matches around the country than worry about the odd game that cant be seen on foxtel. By the way only 30% of people have foxtel anyway. Seriously you never stop whinging.

What , for a practice match ? I don't think so...

I applaud the AFL for playing practice matches out of the mainstream cities and trying to attract potential fans. Not 100 percent but pretty sure Burpengary is rugby league stronghold.

I'm not too tech savvy but I will attempt to give a regular update on here on the day.

These pre-season matches are well worth watching.
We get to see -
- new players running out for the first time.
- players tested in new positions.
- new match strategies given a run.
They'll all be live streaming on the App doo-dad.
But I'll be waiting 24 hours or so, when they become available on video replay
from the AFL site.

Bloody hell, two of the Saints practice matches are live on Foxtel, against the Injectors and the Hawks.

All this whinging and moaning about a practice game against Brisbane.

Are people serious?
