MRV and Saints made money today
How many members were in the 45K crowd?
I'm guessing 10K. Leaves 35K times $5 approx = $175K to MRV (plus merch)
I reckon our club made about $100K profit also after deducting the donation.
All round good for everyone.
Well done to the Reiwoldt family.

I think $5 went to the appeal whether they were members or not and I don't think the profit we make is worked out like that. Im unsure only the Saints paid for the donation either. Would have been a few parties including maybe Etihad and the Tigers plus many other sponsors.

The $5 was from only ticket sales. Any member that scanned in with a membership didn't contribute the $5. That's from Saints Facebook I think that info.plugger66 wrote:saintspremiers wrote:How many members were in the 45K crowd?

OK I didn't see that and they always said per person.saintspremiers wrote:The $5 was from only ticket sales. Any member that scanned in with a membership didn't contribute the $5. Which is why I gave $5 to the person rattling the purple bucket, to cover the $5 they didnt get from my membership.

Just over 10000 members were there according to the scoreboard but it was only purchased tickets that contributed toward the MRV. I was on one of the stalls doing the nail painting & I was overwhelmed with how much money people were donating.

I hope every member also donated on the day. If not why don't you go here http://mrv.org.au/ and donate.
