Can't see bruce going out before MacCartin unless injured. Think a spell at Sandy would do him harm actually and is completely unneccasary and would erode confidence. He's still been providing a great contest and bringing the ball to ground and provides a ruck option. He's having a breakout year!

Maybe Lee in for Goddard if he is very sore from the weekend, if he's not too bad, then no changes to the key defenders Fisher Goddard or Dempster for mine. I guess they could offer Markworth a spot but it wouoldn't be through knocking the door down in the VFL.

Dont quite agree, Paddy & Membry can stay at home, and Roo & Bruce can play a long-lead-up role around the wing, they both have big tanks.

Dont quite agree, Paddy & Membry can stay at home, and Roo & Bruce can play a long-lead-up role around the wing, they both have big tanks.

If we did that we are tanking surely. 4 talls no matter where they play just means the ball comes out of our forward line so quickly. 3 is nearly to many the way Bruce and McCartin play. These days a lot of the leading forwards are mid sized players like Membery but they don't have 3 talls around them.

........Using footy logic to emphasise your point.....but I want Paddy & Membry to both play.....what if Roo plays on the wing as a replacement for Savage, and Josh plays on the back line. Truth is, Josh is playing well enough to be dropped, but I'd like to reward him for a 50 goal season.

......we're not fighting for finals this year...so I reckon we can flirt with romantic selection.....

We weren't fighting for finals at the start of the year but that doesn't mean we don't play people in the right positions or have a correct set up. Roo isn't a winger and wouldn't be fit enough anyway. It would be so unfair to play him there. Membery can play if a tall is sub but that isn't great if you get an early injury.
