It will definitely always be just a dream if you think we can trade White with our second pick to freo for there first pick..

This will leave 4 Primary spots & 2 rookie spots.

Only thing saving Curren, Saunders & Murdoch is they are contracted.

Shenton signed a new deal about 6 weeks ago.
That's unfortunate!

It could only be a pick upgrade of 5 spots if Melbourne beat GWS and Freo win the premiership
Pick 23 or 18 not much difference there.

Retire: Schnieder, Ray?

Delist: Siposs, White, Simpkin, Saad, Saunders, Murdoch

Upgrade Sinclair, Holmes,

Rookie: Pierce, Markworth

Pick Best available at pick 6 .

Trade bait - not really much others would want or we would be willing to give .

Quiet year during trade week , unless we can grab one of those young GWS or GC players which cannot get a game?

What better way for the players who are sacked than to find out about it than via the internet on the Saintsational website.

Spencer would be lucky to get picked up as a rookie selection by another club if we delisted him.. Struggling to get a senior game for sandy.. Keep dreaming!

No way will ray retire. He is 29 and extremely durable. I hope we keep him on a one year contract. As we saw this year with Schneider experience is valuable.

Gone: Sipposs (slow, goes missing), Schneider/Ray (retired), White (lazy), Simpkin (no skill), Wright (same), Saunders (same), Shenton (loose defender)

Keep: Markworth (pace), Lee (trade White, Lee has better skills than Delaney), Saad (rookie), Minchington (better than Saunders)

Small list though. only 4 players on it. Hope the draft is strong.

If Paddy or Membrey don't play then Roo needs to play forward, as poor old Brucey was being double and triple teamed all day!!

I think the delists are:

Markworth (unfortunate, but starting to look like another Xav Clarke, body just won't cope)
Siposs (papers clearly stamped)
White (another who cannot stay on the park)
Simpkin
Possible delists (irrelevant of contracts):

Curren
Saunders

Both are a type that we seem to have plenty of and they seem to be down the pecking order.

Schneider retired, Fisher is probably 50/50, and I think Ray was just offered a one year deal.

I would think that Saad may also be in trouble.

Sinclair and Holmes to be elevated, Peirce to Rookie list.

I think one of Wright/ Shenton/ Webster will be collateral damage in that to get any trade going we need to offer something and I can't see all these mid sized backs staying

so
delist Markworth, Sipposs, White, Simpkin
retire Schneider Fisher (love him but I think the good times beckon)
trade one of Wright/ Shenton/ Webster
or two of Wright/Shenton/ Webster/ Minchington/ Murdoch

Well the only player tradable out of those 5 is Webster and I don't think we would get any real value anyway for him. The other 4 are worth nothing unfortunately.

Would Geelong consider Murdoch? Probably not.

Meh, not that I'm an expert but I'd...

Delist
Michington - Trade
Murdoch - Trade
Geary - Trade, turns the ball over too much
Shenton - Trade
Saad
Pierce
Schneider

Keep
Markworth - 1 more year
Sipposs - 1 more year
Lee - 1 more year
Simpkin - 1 more year
White - 1 more year
Ray - 2 more years, still good imo.
Wright - Keep, will be better than Geary in due course
Saunders - Keep, want his pace

If we package all four of them we might get pick 80. If we trade Geary on his own we might get pick 40.

I dont know about delisting Peirce. He may have more upside than Hickey at the moment.

Pierce is the future. He could be our Brad Ottens.

I'm surprised with number of calls to delist Saad. I would be surprised if he was let go, given the club waited almost 2 years to get him back... and while his forward pocket position seems to have been taken over by Lonie, Minchington & Sinclair, perhaps he could be reinvented in another position? He's also a handy in (and good kick) if these guys suffer 2nd year blues in 2016
