Be bold, be brave and get both Carlisle and Bennell this year. Sell the farm, the house and the cattle Saints and just get it done. How is the issue but let's not let details get in the way of our dreams!!

Yes the baboons and monkeys were active at some spots. South Luangwa NP and Amboseli NP's in particular. One took a fancy to our cottage cheese!

We got pretty good at game spotting and we were fortunate to see cats of some type most times that we went out if it was a park that had cats. Being alert to alarms calls and the body language of other animals often helped tp spot them.

But they do camouflage in well and you could easily miss then unless you looked hard....

We were mainky free to do our own thing, and that freed us up to spot the game we wanted. Spotting cats is oftena matter of patience.

Back on topic.... Bennell has a serious drinking problem. It is a sickness, he needs help and if he can get sober he would be an even better player than he is now. The guy turns up to Sessions still drunk.

I know a few used to turn up to training occasionally (two good players from rival clubs who were good friends of mine had the odd session and turned up a bit under the weather back in the late 80's early 90''s) I was even with several Carlton players at the railway club hotel on a Friday night and three of them couldn't scratch themselves at the end of the night. ( didn't worry me they were playing the Saints on Saturday, and they still beat us!

Times have changed a fair bit and clubs and the league are serious about damaging their image.

I will back the club to make the right decision, it could well be that we believe we can help Harley and curb his drinking. I'm actually quite torn , I'd love to see his skills in a Saints jumper, but after all the bad publicity we seem to cop I'd hate to see the front pages should there be major indiscretions.

We have to take this chance.

Get them both and get them cheaply.

Proven full back and proven goalkicking speedster??? Exactly what we need.

I believe in reiwoldt richo hammil etc to be able to change the little prick. If we want flags we need bennell.

I too think Bennell and Carlisle would from a playing point of view be a great asset as they are both exactly what our teams presently lacks.

Bennell should come at a discount, but with some risk.
Carlisle will not be cheap in either trade cost or $$$.

But with those two in the 22 and with others like Billings back, then we suddely have a much better looking 22. Add another quality mid or two and the team may start to hum.

i see those in the know on bigfooty are saying we are not interested but i am hearing quite the contrary from my guy.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Also we are definitely in to Kelly.

They would easily be the most significant trades we've made in the last decade. Dare to dream.

The Kelly rumour is certainly persistent, but it has not appeared at all in the mainstream media. He's no Bennell but can certainly become an elite midfielder and better than anything we'd manage to get in the draft.

Well getting them both and getting them cheaply isn't as easy as typing it. matter of fact both on their own will cost a fair bit.

A Carlisle, Bennell/Kelly combo would cover two of our needs more than any draft picks would this year.

Yep add Kelly as well?? Wow.
But pluggwrs right would cost a bit.

Bennell pay overs get in psd
Kelly pick 5 trade
Carlisle second and Third round

3 proven players all potential GUNS.
In a draft if you can gaurantee 3 gun players thats a pass.

Come on SAINTS do it!!!

Sounds good to me. Then add Rice and upgrade Sinclair and that would be one of our best drafts to date.

I hope it's Josh, if it is then let's do it!!!
