Well at least Dennis Cometti will be able to add to his repertoire

'Bennell (Carlisle) lines up...... for goal..... Not for the first time in his career.'

Roo's family break
NICK Riewoldt is enjoying his off-season in the United States, combining time with his young family and wife Catherine’s siblings with a regular weights and cardio regime.

The 298-game veteran, who turned 33 last Saturday, will not return to full training at Linen House Centre until the new year.

Aside from allowing himself to physically refresh, Riewoldt said part of Texas’ appeal was his anonymity in day to day life.

“It’s a long way from Melbourne and not too many people recognise me walking down the street, which is good,” Riewoldt told Triple M recently.

“It’s nice to get away and spend some time with Catherine’s family over here. She obviously sacrifices a lot. To be able to bring James home to Catherine’s parents is enjoyable.

I've also seen a photo of him yesterday wearing a Carlscum jumper.

Reckon he'll put on anyone's jumper for a photo.

Don't know who Robbie Williams is :? :? Thought, oh dear the Saints must have recruited another player with bogan Tatts, then looked at the lack of muscle definition in the shoulders arms and decided he's not an athlete....... so I suppose he's one of those here today gone tomorrow some kind of tv 'celeb'????????

So I don't mind if he is a Carlscum supporter GO :P

Thanks bratty. Clip one shows me he can't dance. Clip two shows me he's more a screamer than a crooner trying to do that song.

So Carlton can have him.  Oh, Is he American or English?

I like Robbie. He's a good entertainer and has some great songs. Takes the piss out of himself and seems to enjoy meeting fans.

At least he can sing proper songs and the music is played with real instruments

Size me up eh???? What plate loads they have. I hope they are sharing with others or the two of them may have thicker skinfold measurements on their return to AUS.

Does Richo look like he is trying to grow a mustache? Or is it just a shadow? I guess it's Movember and he might be!

Do you think he and Roo might have discussed Flakey Jakey??? :P

And now St Kilda has followed the Hawks’ lead, with Alan Richardson completing the same course as Clarkson, in a sign the Saints are ramping up their off-field operations.

Danny ‘Spud’ Frawley had to dig deep to remember a time when he has endured a physical test as punishing and relentless as the Captain’s Ride from Sydney to Byron Bay. He recalled a pre-season training camp at Bacchus Marsh early in his career that was very tough physically, but as hard as that was, he didn’t have to put up with saddle soreness.

“There’s a bit of baboon tendonitis down there, it’s a bit raw and tender that’s for sure. 100 ‘kegs’ sitting on a seat about four inches wide and about one inch at the front is not the greatest,” Frawley said.

The riders have now ridden 780 kilometres from Sydney on their way to Byron Bay. They rode from Dorrigo in the NSW Northern tablelands to Grafton which involved a lot of hills. The groups climbed 2,000 metres before the downhill run into town in time for the Jacaranda Festival. However, even the downhill section wasn’t that easy with driving rain forcing riders to exercise extreme caution as they descended.

I notice AV Jennings are sponsoring Danny & Jamie Cox on that ride. Doesn't our President work for AV Jennings or is it some other building/development company?

If he does work for AV J I can see why he had the firm sponsor Danny & Jamie as I don't think our Prez would be able to tackle such an event himself. He'd need an electric bike, if he could even balance on a 2 wheeler bike. Last time I met him, he had the figure of a bloke who definitely par takes in plenty of food & beverage............ and I don't think it's health food & energy drinks he fills up on. Anyway good on him for getting D & J involved....... all more good vibes for our Club.
