Gee the gland attack for both DMac & Rice !
Roberton good to go is more like it. I've been enjoying Robbo's journey and hoping he gets a good run of it in 2016.
It'll be a bonus to see the other 3 begin to manoeuver themselves into contention.

Paddy was running laps today, no strapping. so I would suggest it is merely precautionary.

Roberton did full training so no problems there.

The captain is fine. He obviously left the ground as what people reported as an injury, but he really got his leg just in time,” Cox told saints.com.au on Tuesday afternoon.

“He should be fine for Round 1. He’s pulled up really well and that’s really good news on that front.”

Defender Jimmy Webster hurt his hand late against Melbourne, but subsequent scans have cleared the Tasmanian of any bone damage, ensuring he should also be available to travel to South Australia.

“Jimmy Webster in the game against the Demons had an incident late where he fell on his wrist and we were worried about some bone damage there, but scans have cleared him as well. Hopefully Jimmy doesn’t miss any footy, he’s pulled up well also,” Cox said.

Good news, Round 1 approaches and we’ve got virtually a full list to pick from, other than Nathan Freeman who still continues to recover strongly and train strongly and should be playing before too much longer,” Cox told saints.com.au on Wednesday.

Captain Nick Riewoldt is set to make the trip across to South Australia to face Port Adelaide in the Saints first match of the 2016 season after overcoming general tightness.

The five-time All Australian didn’t finish St Kilda’s final NAB Challenge clash against Melbourne a fortnight ago, and has been the topic of inevitable discussion ever since. But Cox is confident Riewoldt will face the Power on Easter Sunday.

“The captain trained well yesterday and looks well on track to play,” Cox said.

Emerging key forward Paddy McCartin won’t be considered for senior selection despite overcoming the hamstring strain he suffered early in the game against North Melbourne in Wangaratta.

The 2014 No. 1 draft pick will return via Sandringham in the VFL where he will look to regain match conditioning before being available for Alan Richardson’s side.

“Paddy McCartin is available for selection, but because he injured himself so early in the NAB Challenge, really hasn’t had the volume necessary to play in the seniors,” Cox said.

“Paddy will play for Sandringham in a practice match on Sunday to hopefully he get his season underway.”

St Kilda remains in a healthy injury position following the opening round of the season, with the Saints returning from Adelaide without any casualties.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
“We’ve come through that game basically injury-free. We should have a full list from that game for selection this week,” Cox told saints.com.au on Tuesday night.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

St Kilda rookie’s Nick O’Kearney and Brenton Payne were the only injury concerns to emerge from the weekend after being injured in Sandringham’s clash with Box Hill.

First-year midfielder O’Kearney broke a bone in his forearm that is set to sideline him for up to six weeks, whilst project forward Payne has suffered a stress reaction in his shin which will put him out for a month.

He's not injured. They are just choosing not to play him yet.
