Hammill? you are kidding right. He was in charge of our forwards up until this year. And they can't kick straight. I would get Roos in a heart beat but he wont be available so we will roll the dice with another up and comer who hopefully deliver but this will not occur until 2021 as we can not afford to get rid of Richo until then
Re: Is Paul Roos what we need .
shouldnt we go for Matthew Lloyd, Caroline Wilson, Craig Hutchinson. Dermott Brereton. Jason Dunstall. Cammeron Ling, Matthew Richardson. Kane Cornes, Bruce McAvaney, Basil Zempalas. Gerard Healey. Jonathon Brown, Cameron Mooney as our coach. Apparently they seem to know all about how the StKilda Football club ticks. The let us know every time one of them talks or does commentary on our games. Just saying

He would be a gun for hire, just like Blight. No thanks!

f*** no. Footy is boring enough already defensively in some games. He is Ross Lyon's mentor. We would be seeing Paddy McCartin around the centre circle every week and he would still be the closest player to the Saints goals. Please no. Not again or anymore.
Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud

Spot on Parkey. It was hard enough watching that negative footy/ultra defensive low scoring grinding footy for the five years we were a good side under Lyon. I couldn't put up with going to the footy to watch it again on a regular basis.parkeysainter wrote:f*** no. Footy is boring enough already defensively in some games. He is Ross Lyon's mentor. Richardson is well paid, as are his assistants. They need to work their way through this slump and build belief within the playing group. We have a very even list with depth. The game plan is the issue here, as are the skills. I don't know if they can fix these things straight away but they have to try. That is what they are being paid to do.
In the unlikely event they are reading this forum I would implore them to leave at least one key forward in the forward line at all times.
Your friendly neighbourhood samurai.

Do we need Paul Roos? Well I'm not so sure. People want Richo's head on a block, but if you sack the coach, who else will we get? Better the devil you know. I think we need to get some mentoring and support around Richo, especially in the box on game day. I would love to see an ex coach, someone like Rodney Eade or perhaps Roo's to take on this role. As for the Football Department, where is Neal Balme these days?
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

Danny Sexton would be getting nervous.
I'm very surprised Adam Kingsley didn't move to another club last year.
I wonder what he is thinking.

Pffft...if anything we're what Paul Roos needs. Reckon he can see another cushy expectation-free AFL subsidised coaching stint coming right up. Excuse me for being cynical.

Once again, my great friend, entrepreneur, and fellow casino and beauty pageant operator, Park Avenue Sainter, he is correct! Very correct! We do not want that fanatical Islamist and fake news peddlar Paul Ruse, or his lowest common denominator Marxist-inspired football game plans! Not anywhere near our great club! And no one knows this like I do! Or like Park Avenue Sainter does, believe me! #makingPaulRusegrateagainparkeysainter wrote:f*** no. Footy is boring enough already defensively in some games.
