ANZAC Tribute?

Post: # 1721585Post cps »

Hey Folks,

I was at the game today. A great effort by the team and a huge improvement on previous weeks.

The other TV games this round have had ANZAC tributes prior to the start of the game, but there wasn't anything at Etihad today - just wondering if I missed it or if not, why there wasn't anything at today's game.

Cheers!

It is ond ceremony in each state ( or venue) then the 2 stand alone games

I missed the start of the game but believe Soldier On members were part of the guard of honour for the team

It’s a weird rule - only means that our game, WCE/Blues and the Norf/Hawks game are the ones with no ceremony. May as well just do it at all games.

i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.

Yes, and there was a thing on the big screens. This featured players from both teams making comments on the importance of Anzac Day to them.
