8 pts down but you think we would be 8 goals down if this thread was your only reference

Hang tough peeps - we are well in this
Down is DOWN. Keep accepting mediocrity and that is what we will always get. Richmond has a sign in their rooms - If all you ever do - is all you've ever done; All you'll ever get is, all you ever got. Mediocrity.

Buggers it up a lot

Having a good game and not buggering it up much at all
Has a very good balance between defending his man and getting possessions

Whilst i agree he turns it over more than we would like considering he is a technically good kick, tonight he has not done that

This is what happens when you play 6-7 half back flankers

But we're only in it due to the Hawks kicking according to the commentators. Did they not notice our 3.7?

Great mark and goal by Hickey. Are our ruckmen allowed to do that?

He absolutely can not kick a worth a damn. He needs to go back to vfl and get his game sorted because he is so pathetic it is hurting his confidence everytime he misses and I am sick to death of watching him butcher the ball.
David - too much reliance on SMALL players with average skills and no elite fitness. The whole bloody team is slower than Hawthorn... and that is saying something!
I know I agree...but smart outclasses quick...Lenny wasn't endowed with wheels but he knew where to be to get the ball and he efficiently disposed of the pill...Billings get where he needs to be but he cant kick goals...as others have said we lack a mongrel like Bakes to tag the Mitchell's of the AFL.

And I guess by "half back flankers" you mean "wankers?"

I think the score is irrelevant, we are playing horribly, so many things need fixing down at the club.

Watching the Saints play now is like watching 18 Jack Daniels playing together.
Loved Jack but used to cringe with every kick he did.

Long impressive again good attack
Ross good
Stevens trying
Skills/game plan just deplorable
McCartin HAS to play deeper surely that's his go not a decoy lead to the wing??
Billings VFL time
Gresham - done zip and lower your bloody eyes??? VFL spell wouldn't hurt
Let's be frank we look bloody awful and going forward we have no system

No one is liking this tonight but hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel

Agree with most...
Ross - too much like Goddard. BIG head... know all... great skills... used sparingly... not interested sometimes.
Stevens - the Lone Ranger.
No skills... No Game Plan... (see previous observations)
McCartin - agree. Run out of goalsquare.
Billings - should have been playing there already. Along with Sinclair. Billings - ditto.
Bloody awful. No Game Plan. No system. Slow. Unfit. Unskilled.

And - surprise, surprise - the free kick count is more than double in favor of Hawthorn. Not really good enough in a game played like this.
