One of the best posts I’ve seen in recent times. I’m a Sainter for lots of reasons, I came to support this club not because of their “Flag winning potential”, but for other, deeper reasons. It was a choice I made. I’m prepared to live with wherever that choice takes me. I can’t imagine what made Mark Thompson end up where he’s ended up, but it is an awful situation.

Most crooks come undone because they make mistakes. That, or because they're really dumb. Bomber is in the former category. I hope he makes it back. Bomber is obviously a very troubled man and you will well know extracting ones self from the grasp of these shitmen is not an easy task.

Still I have no sympathy for anyone caught up in drug trafficking (as he has been charged) and if guilty I hope he cops the maximum sentence.
He is a wealthy man and to prosper from the misery of others in unforgivable.

In all seriousness, footy clubs at any level aren't just about winning premierships. Its much more than that. I don't need to explain it.

AFL is still just a sport and a multi million dollar one at that. I get thats its serious business but never ride your life off the back of the Saints or any footy club for that matter. Supporters need to enjoy the release and enjoyment footy brings from the real world. Its even more fun when your team is going well though. I get pissed off when Saints supporters get personal and unfairly rip into players on a disgusting level due to the above. No sport can be that serious.

Bomber Thimpson also needs to do some time in the big house. He is a filthy crook. Plain and simple. His activities helped kill kids and other people through drugs.
