Pretty sure he didn't play the full game last week. Will do this week and back the week after.

Re: Team v Blues
Should be straight in.
Id also like to see Connellan get a run at it ahead of Lonie.

Re: Team v Blues
Correct - 31 possessions, 4 marks & 8 tackles clearly shows that

Re: Team v Blues
He will be dropped again next week once Acres racks up another 35 but surely you would have tried Ben Paton over Lonie at least - racked up similar stats vs Coburg

Re: Team v Blues
I wouldn't be surprised if it is the following week against GWS up at the far away place where their ground is hidden away.
Clearly he is going to attract a fair amount of media upon debut and I wonder if the added spotlight, intensity and pressure of Friday night games is part of thier decision making process when deciding what game to schedule for his debut?

Re: Team v Blues
Some excellent changes but not Lonie again!!!!!!!!!!
Surely Acres would be better and why isn't White given more of a go? If only he was given the chances that Lonie , Weller and Newnes get.
I am still not sure Phillips is up to it but worth another look I guess.

Re: Team v Blues
No Hugh Goddard again. Austin out and obvious replacement - Cards are marked I feel .
Lots of spin to come: " he was close, we really considered him , putting together a good body of work at Sandy, Just felt match ups not quite right, Just needs to tick a few more boxes.....
Heard them all before . All year selection (not just Richo) has lacked courage, Perhaps trying to fool people of the trade value of some players?

Re: Team v Blues
Seriously can someone please tell me what Newnes does each week to justify his selection? I am obviously missing something. Please, someone give me an explanation???
As for Acres, he is in our top 10 players (being generous to a few) and could easily argue top 5. Again, can someone please explain to me why you would have a player of this calibre spending another week in the twos? What other club does this with one of their best players?
I totally understand he's been out for many weeks...but he had 30 touches!! I think he's ok!!!
God, Diledio is coming back from injury, he's playing in the twos this week... i guarantee if he has 30 touches he'll be straight back in!!
The mind boggles, and this is before i even start on Freeman.
