Perhaps I should add that many believe that it was the first act helping the club for someon who turned out to be a popular and long-standing saint!

That would be Russell Morris, who was in red, white and black within a year of making that mistake.

All yours!

A mistake? Perhaps his way of signalling his intentions...

Well he went on to make plenty of mistakes when he was playing for us so I don't think it was intentional.

While we're on that time period, which two Saints left the club (not sure if delisted, traded or quit) to go to Geelong for the 1991 season?

Simpson is one...correct...
The other played fewer games though and is a bit more obscure, but I'm sure there is a die hard here who will get it

Forum favourite Tim Allen played for Geelong but I think he went to Hawthorn first? Can't remember when he played for us either.

Nope, not Tim Allen. He debuted with us in '91, then went to Hawthorn a couple of years later and Geelong a couple of years after that.

Jamie Lamb played against us in the '91 final. Not sure if that was the year he started at Geelong.

I remember thinking that only good players got to play finals footy and then I saw Ricky Nixon playing on Jamie Lamb!

As a pure guess I'll say Brett Bowey

Not Bowey.

This guy played for another AFL club before his brief career at the Saints.

As I said, he had a brief career with the Saints. Less than 10 games.

Not Tim Pekin.

Stephen Milne kicked 11 straight v Brisbane in R22 last year.
Name the four other current AFL players who have kicked ten goals or more in a game during their AFL career.
One of them should be pretty easy.

For bonus points name the two other (past) players who have kicked 11 goals in R22 during a season (the most goals kicked in R22).
