The story is that Jimmy told the club his hand was broken and they forced him to play the next week which resulted in a further break and an operation.
I find that hard to believe Max.
How about he mentioned his hand was sore and they asked him to consider playing......
No Max.
How about he thought he was right to go and just played....

Should be played as a wingman. Want his spearing kick into forward 50 not out of it.
Agree with this - a large part of our forward problems (besides missing a second tall forward) is the quality of entry - someone like Jimmy helps fix that problem from a wing.

Hopefully, a new coach will bring new ideas and a fresh perspective eg trying players in different positions, playing different players and not automatically playing the favourites, different game plan etc...Hopefully, this will eak one or two more wins out this list..

Has the ability to play inside and outside midfield
Only been played as a back.
Time to roll the dice to see what he can do off a wing.
I vaguely recall jaxsons saying at some point that he was exclusively a half-back flanker. Having noted that - I've always wondered why's he's not been tried off a wing or even as a centre sq midfielder (if he went in there - he'd automatically become our best kick in front of Ross, Dunstan and Steele).
Confirmed back.
My sources have spoken to him asking about his hand and why he has been out so long. Jimmy said it's not his hand anymore but his back is "cooked".
Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play this year or at least last few games.
