We need Geelong to thrash us - to save ourselves.

Post: # 1805604Post Special »

Sorry to say this.

It’s bad. It’s wrong. Yes I’m evil.

But we need the presser on Monday.

Every week is like a festering infection that needs treatment.

You may say a week isn’t long but in the state we are on we need that concrete change.

Geelong, do us a favour and help force this change.

Will make no difference in terms of the club pulling the trigger this week or not.

Richo will be the coach, unless he walks, till it is mathematically impossible to make the 8 so that he cannot achieve the trigger clause in his contract. That is about 3 games away, or more, depending on the results of other teams as well as us.

Disagree and forget Richo. The players need to show something for themselves and us supporters!

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

There is thrashings and there are thrashings. I doubt Geelong will be going all out Saturday night, enough to win comfortably but not get injuries. If they toy with us and win by six that's as humbling as them going flat out and giving us an almighty caning. However if we throw in the towel or look particularly inept that would also be bad. I expect the coaching status quo to continue as delicate negotiations go on feverishly in the background at little known discrete venues. Perhaps Gills polo club.

I'm inclined to agree with the OP. We need to bring things to start doing something about the festering sore instead of letting it get worse.

Still waiting for closure ... if you get my drift.

I've made my peace (for now!) Richo is gone, no two ways about it, so let's win a few games for the club, the players, the fans and for Richo himself. Go Saints!

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

I hope the club doesn't cave in to the media, fan hysteria re the coach.

I hope the cho gets to see the season out and then falls on his sword.

<1 week ban for using a banned term>

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Nick Riewoldt came out repeatedly on Foxfooty and said that Cho had a clause in his contract and Roo talked as if it was real and to me personally he confirmed it existed. I reckon Roo basically added fuel to the talk that there could be pressure on Richo to go before his contract was up...and as soon as it became mathematically impossible for the Saints to make finals.

Perhaps Roo is like most of us and wants change asap. Probably should have happened last year but of course the AFL wouldn't let us.

I found it quite odd that Rooy was openly talking about private information regarding Richo's contract or even giving credibility to rumour or heresay evidence of such clauses in someone else's contract when he was such an advocate of privacy back in his playing days.
