Finger crossed! To turn a rookie into a senior player is worth its weight in gold.

I also welcome this news. We need to get games into more of these kids.
I’ll be bloody annoyed if Newnes is selected again.

Don't they look devastated by the loss of the great motivator and teacher of men, Cho?

Re: Langlands to Debut!
He was the last player that has not been given a chance that deserves one he has speed and strongly built I have been excited for awhile on him.
Look forward to seeing him Sunday, there has been so many debuts this season we have a done a truck load of work rebuilding the list this year people dont realise how much we have done.
Other than a few taking the next step like Billings we have found a few who were not in the team at all or secure as 1st team players the previous season:
Marshall
Wilkie
Clark
Hind
Parker
Ed Phillips
Marsh- solid pre season will show more
Dunstan- taken next step
Coffield
and now Langlands
Thats quite heavy going.

Re: Langlands to Debut!
Yep. Has all the tools and has earnt a decent crack at it.
Interestingly, he's had much better games in the VFL than last week IMO. Is this a case of Ratts merely injecting some youthful exuberance, or just demonstrates how two different coaches view certain players?

Re: Langlands to Debut!
Love it!
I heard they gave Richo a shot on goal to remain coach. He sprayed it out on the full and was gone the next day.

Re: Langlands to Debut!
I remember his highlight reel from the U/18s, looked classy & quick but very skinny. His highlight reel looked a lot better than others.
Looks to have worked hard & bulked up. I like him already! All the very best young Doulton.

Wonder why ammo was wearing Long's no 21 training jumper rather than his own no 20.

Same build, height and weight, as Savage now.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Thu 18 Jul 2019 8:14pm I remember his highlight reel from the U/18s, looked classy & quick but very skinny. His highlight reel looked a lot better than others.

Re: Langlands to Debut!
Can't wait to see Langers in action. He is well built like Paton. Strong country lads from Albury and good mates.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Re: Langlands to Debut!
Doulton is way bigger than Savage, both in height and weight. If I had to guess, which would be more accurate than listed probably...
I’d say
Langlands 187/88
Savage 184/80

Savage 184/80
